January Public Meeting

VicLUG is having it’s monthly public meeting at Moon Under Water brew pub on Jan 18th @ 7pm
MUW is at 350 Bay St, right beside the bridge, we’ll be in the Penny Lounge!
Bring any creations or sets for show & tell, we will be doing a bit of pre game hustle for the big Sidney Family Day weekend festival a couple weeks later.

Sidney Window Display

VicLUG will be setting up a Christmas/Holiday themed window display at the Mary Winspear Centre for the month of December!

It will go up on Dec. 1st and open to the public to see for the month. This is a good lead in to the big Family Day festival in February!

Sad to report IFCon Cancelled

For those who were looking forward to the IFCon event this weekend (October 31-November 1, 2015) at Pearkes please be advised the event has been cancelled.

We are deeply disappointed and had looked forward to a fantastic display featuring the Halls of both Justice and Doom and the “Battle of Bricktoria”. This feast of super-hero/comic-book/movie goodness will hopefully be incorporated into our Family Day event in Sidney next February.

Post CBT

Cherry Bomb was great as always! We were in a slightly different location and it worked out wonderful for the public build, pictures will follow soon.
I wanted to get a post up quick so anyone who is coming to the site sees that we are actually here! For the most part club members are active in the forums. If you had talked to anyone at the show about joining VicLUG please write to lego@viclug.ca and we can go from there.
Our next public meeting is on Oct. 19th, time and place details to follow, and our next event is Ifcon on Oct. 31-Nov-1st at Pearkes.
