Saanich Fair, held every Labour Day weekend for 141 years has for many years included a LEGO building contest as part of the junior (3-16 years) exhibition. This years edition is from August 30- September 1, 2008.
Entries close 8:00 pm Wednesday August 20, 2008.

Pre-School to Age 5
19-307 Lego – Not a Kit - Max size of FIRM base 16” x 16”
6 to 7 Years

10 – 12 Years

There is also a "fridge magnet section in the catalogue of exhibits that does not specify what material!
