VicLUG will be setting up a Christmas/Holiday themed window display at the Mary Winspear Centre for the month of December!
It will go up on Dec. 1st and open to the public to see for the month. This is a good lead in to the big Family Day festival in February!
VicLUG is having a public meeting on Nov. 16th at Moon Under Water brew pub at 7pm

Cherry Bomb was great as always! We were in a slightly different location and it worked out wonderful for the public build, pictures will follow soon.
I wanted to get a post up quick so anyone who is coming to the site sees that we are actually here! For the most part club members are active in the forums. If you had talked to anyone at the show about joining VicLUG please write to lego@viclug.ca and we can go from there.

VicLUG will be at Cherry Bomb’s Ultimate Hobby & Toy Fair because we never miss the happiest day of the year! It takes place in the Pearkes Recreation field house beside Silver City and Tillicum Mall.
It’s on May 3rd this year…. that’s close to an auspicious date huh…?

VicLUG and Robin Sathers will be making another Lego Mania event on March 13-15 at Tillicum Mall! There are over 100 entries from kids into the contest and we’ll be having a Duplo big build, moc area with Where’s Waldo, and kid build zone. Hope to see you there!
VicLUG will be at the 6th Gottacon on Feb. 27th to Mar. 1st at the downtown Victoria Convention Centre. We’ll be running VicWars, Lego D20 plus our kid build zone and a board games table.
VicWars will have a new rule set but still familiar for returning players. We’ll be running a few games a day, come by the booth for an updated schedule. Hope to see you there!

VicLUG will be participating in a fundraiser for young Dacian who has MS and needs a specialized van in the future. We are partnering with our good buddies Heroes Inc on October 25th at the Commonwealth Recreation Centre.
The event runs between 1-3 and look forward to seeing you there!
