LEGO Robotics Festival for girls
EDIT: The February 17th event is now full. Due to popular demand, a second LEGO Robotics Festival for girls will be held on Saturday February 24th, 10 a.m - 4 p.m.
On Saturday February 17th 2007, the UVic Women in Engineering and Computer Science Program (WECS) is hosting a LEGO Robotics Festival for girls in grades 6 -12. This is an excellent opportunity to play, and be creative with Lego Mindstorms NXT robots while learning a few exciting Computer Science and Engineering concepts through fun activities with the Mindstorms robots.
