Basic Building Toys: Feb 21

On Sat. Feb 21st, Juan De Fuca Recreation Centre and VicLUG are working to bring another session of Building Block Toys, a course for ages 8-12 that focuses on basic bricks and techniques. Cost is $32 per child and the kids take home the brick bucket at the end of the workshop, hopefully with a lot of new ideas and skills as well!

this is neat, it's from the Active Living Guide:

I think it says to visit brickset because that was what I used to recommend which sets to use in the course. Notice how there's nary a mention of Lego in the blurb? We have to avoid that but still convey that it's not a course about wooden blocks, not that there's anything wrong with that.

We should go back out to JdF and add more stuff to the display. From what I remember, it was kinda light.
