Just saw this on the Eurobricks website. The man pictured on the box is also the boy pictured on the box: Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen grandson of the founder of LEGO. What a great way to celebrate LEGO history!
p.p.s. I think we may need to organize a trip to Seattle (Bellevue Square LEGO store) next spring/summer to pick up some of these great new sets cause I'm not gonna pay whatever LEGO Canada is likely gonna sell them for.
As excellent as the set is, I think the fact Kjeld is portrayed on it along with him playing on the original box art is the neatest bit in the set. Genius on LEGO's part.

It may be the first box I actually save. Or maybe just frame the front panel. I actually talked to my wife about how many I want to buy (thinking one for me and each of the kids for when they are old enough.)
